This document establishes the operational, financial, and logistical regulations governing the services provided by Innova Educational Services (a trade name operated by Sigma Nova Investments LLC) through the website https://innovaevaluations.org/ and the InnovaCentral portal. By contracting our services, the Client fully and unreservedly accepts the following policies.
- Service Portfolio and Operational Conditions
1.1. Operational Scope
Innova Educational Services is a comprehensive consulting firm offering the following specialized services:
- Certified Official Translation: Performed under the highest standards, in our capacity as Corporate Members of the American Translators Association (ATA).
- Foreign Academic Credential Equivalence: Evaluations performed entirely by our specialists and officially backed by credentialing agencies affiliated with NACES or AICE.
- Expert Opinion Letter: Drafted by qualified professionals in various industries to support academic or professional trajectories.
- Professional Plans and Business Plans: Development of structured plans for corporate or investment purposes.
- Labor Competence Certification: Evaluation and formal documentation of technical and professional skills acquired through experience.
- Migratory CV: Design and drafting of specialized résumés by our experts, specifically structured as evidence and supporting documentation for immigration procedures in the United States.
1.2. Exclusion of Guarantees of Outcome (Dictums and Immigration Procedures)
- Academic Equivalencies: Although the equivalencies are performed by us and backed by agencies affiliated with NACES or AICE, the calculation of the Grade Point Average (GPA) and degree equivalence are based on strict U.S. educational standards. Innova does not guarantee that the result will meet the Client’s personal expectations or be unconditionally accepted by a specific university or licensing board.
- Documentation for Immigration Purposes: Documents such as the Migratory CV, Expert Opinion Letters, and Business Plans are prepared with technical rigor as supporting evidence. However, the final decision regarding any visa, residency, or immigration petition rests exclusively with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or the relevant authorities. Innova does not guarantee the approval of any immigration process.
1.3. Important Notice Regarding Legal and Immigration Services
To avoid any misunderstanding about the scope of our functions, we expressly declare that Innova Educational Services is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not act as immigration attorneys, paralegals, or immigration document preparers. Our services are exclusively focused on academic, professional, and documentary drafting support within the educational and corporate context of the United States.
- Documentary Requirements and Anti-Fraud Policy (Zero Tolerance)
2.1. Accuracy of Information
The Client is entirely responsible for providing truthful information, as well as legible, complete, and authentic academic and professional documents.
2.2. Fraudulent or Altered Documentation
Innova Educational Services enforces a strict Zero Tolerance policy against fraud. If during the review, translation, or evaluation process it is determined that a document has been forged, altered, or manipulated:
- The provision of all associated services will be immediately canceled.
- No refunds of any kind will be issued (100% retention of the payment for operational and investigative expenses).
- The Company reserves the right to notify the competent authorities, government agencies, and the issuing institution of the original document.
- Processing Times and Delays
3.1. Start of Processing Time
Estimated processing times for any service (standard or expedited) only begin when the file is 100% complete. This implies that payment has been processed and all required documents and informational questionnaires have been received from the Client.
3.2. Delays Beyond Our Control
The Company will not be financially responsible nor issue refunds for delays caused by:
- Client’s failure to respond to requests for additional information.
- Internal operational delays of allied credentialing agencies (NACES/AICE).
- Losses, damages, or delays caused by courier services (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
- Cancellation and Refund Policies
4.1. Eligibility for Refund (Early Cancellation)
A Client may request the cancellation of their process and a partial refund only if the service has not yet begun its technical or investigative execution phase. In this scenario, a non-refundable administrative fee of $50.00 USD (or 20% of the total invoice, whichever is greater) will apply for opening the file in InnovaCentral, with the remainder refunded to the original payment method.
4.2. NON-Refundable Services
No refunds of any kind will be issued under the following circumstances:
- If the Credential Equivalence report has already been completed, endorsed, or is technically “In Process”.
- If the drafting, design, or research of the Migratory CV, Business Plan, or Expert Opinion Letter has already been initiated by our team of specialists.
- If the Client disagrees with the academic result of the equivalence or if their immigration/university petition is rejected by third parties.
- If the official translation process has already begun.
- In cases of detection of documentary fraud (See Section 2.2).
- If the Client abandons the process, fails to provide the inputs, or does not respond to Innova’s communications within ninety (90) calendar days after payment is made. After this period, the case will be automatically closed without the right to a refund.
- Official Translation Services (ATA)
As Corporate Members of the American Translators Association (ATA), we guarantee that:
- Our translations are literal and accurate, faithfully reflecting the original document in accordance with industry standards.
- Grading scales will not be converted, nor will degree names be altered in the translation process per se (this is done in the Equivalence).
- Once the translation process has begun, the corresponding fees are 100% non-refundable.
- Chargebacks
By accepting these policies, the Client agrees to attempt to resolve any financial dispute by contacting our administrative department directly ([email protected]) before initiating a bank dispute (chargeback). If the Client initiates an unjustified chargeback for a service duly rendered or in the execution phase, Innova Educational Services reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend all active services.
- Invalidate and revoke any endorsement, equivalence, or translation issued before the receiving institutions.
- Refer the outstanding balance to a collections agency, adding surcharges for legal fees, administrative costs, and bank penalties applicable in the State of Florida.
