Refund and Service Policy
The operational, financial, and logistical policies that govern our services.
This document sets forth the operational, financial, and logistical policies that govern the services provided by Innova Educational Services (a trade name operated by Sigma Nova Investments LLC) through the website https://innovaevaluations.org/ and the InnovaCentral portal. By engaging our services, the Client fully and unreservedly accepts the following policies.
1. Service Portfolio and Operating Conditions
1.1. Operational Scope
Innova Educational Services is a comprehensive consulting firm that offers the following specialized services:
- Certified Official Translation: Performed to the highest standards, in our capacity as Corporate Members of the American Translators Association (ATA).
- Foreign Academic Credential Equivalency: Evaluations performed entirely by our specialists and officially endorsed by accrediting agencies affiliated with NACES or AICE.
- Expert Opinion Letter: Written by qualified professionals across various industries to support academic or professional backgrounds.
- Professional Plans and Business Plans: Development of structured plans for corporate or investment purposes.
- Work Skills Certification: Formal evaluation and documentation of technical and professional skills acquired through experience.
- Immigration Résumé (CV): Design and writing of specialized résumés by our experts, structured specifically as supporting evidence and documentation for immigration processes in the United States.
1.2. No Guarantee of Outcome (Determinations and Immigration Processes)
- Academic Equivalencies: Although equivalencies are prepared by us and endorsed by agencies affiliated with NACES or AICE, the calculation of the Grade Point Average (GPA) and the degree equivalency are based on strict U.S. educational standards. Innova does not guarantee that the outcome will meet the Client’s personal expectations or that it will be unconditionally accepted by any specific university or licensing board.
- Documentation for Immigration Purposes: Documents such as the Immigration Résumé (CV), Expert Opinion Letters, and Business Plans are prepared with technical rigor as supporting evidence. However, the final decision on any visa, residency, or immigration petition rests exclusively with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or the relevant authorities. Innova does not guarantee the approval of any immigration process.
1.3. Important Notice Regarding Legal and Immigration Services
To avoid any misunderstanding about the scope of our functions, we expressly state that Innova Educational Services is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not act as immigration attorneys, paralegals, or immigration document preparers. Our services are exclusively focused on academic, professional, and document-writing support within the educational and corporate context of the United States.
2. Documentation Requirements and Anti-Fraud Policy (Zero Tolerance)
2.1. Accuracy of Information
The Client is solely responsible for providing truthful information, as well as legible, complete, and authentic academic and professional documents.
2.2. Fraudulent or Altered Documentation
Innova Educational Services enforces a strict Zero Tolerance policy toward fraud. If, during the review, translation, or evaluation process, it is determined that a document has been forged, altered, or tampered with:
- All associated services will be canceled immediately.
- No refund of any kind will be issued (100% of the payment will be retained to cover operational and investigative costs).
- The Company reserves the right to notify the competent authorities, government agencies, and the institution that issued the original document.
3. Processing Times and Delays
3.1. Start of Processing Time
Estimated processing times for any service (standard or expedited) begin only once the file is 100% complete. This means that payment has been processed and all documents and information questionnaires required from the Client have been received.
3.2. Delays Beyond Our Control
The Company shall not be financially liable for, nor issue refunds for, delays caused by:
- The Client’s failure to respond to requests for additional information.
- Internal operational delays at partner accrediting agencies (NACES/AICE).
- Losses, damage, or delays caused by courier services (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
4. Cancellation and Refund Policies
4.1. Refund Eligibility (Early Cancellation)
A Client may request the cancellation of their process and a partial refund only if the service has not yet begun its technical or investigative execution phase. In this case, a non-refundable administrative fee of $50.00 USD (or 20% of the total invoice, whichever is greater) will be charged for opening the file in InnovaCentral, and the remainder will be refunded to the original payment method.
4.2. Non-Refundable Services
No refund of any kind will be issued under the following circumstances:
- If the Credential Equivalency report has already been completed, endorsed, or is in the technical “In Process” stage.
- If the writing, design, or research for the Immigration Résumé (CV), Business Plan, or Expert Opinion Letter has already been started by our team of specialists.
- If the Client disagrees with the academic outcome of the equivalency or if their immigration/university petition is denied by third parties.
- If the official translation process has already begun.
- In cases where document fraud is detected (see Section 2.2).
- If the Client abandons the process, fails to provide the required materials, or does not respond to Innova’s communications for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after payment is made. After this period, the case will be closed automatically with no right to a refund.
5. Official Translation Services (ATA)
As Corporate Members of the American Translators Association (ATA), we guarantee that:
- Our translations are literal and accurate, faithfully reflecting the original document in accordance with industry standards.
- Grading scales will not be converted and degree titles will not be altered in the translation process itself (this is done in the Equivalency).
- Once the translation process has begun, the corresponding fees are 100% non-refundable.
6. Payment Disputes (Chargebacks)
By accepting these policies, the Client agrees to attempt to resolve any financial dispute by contacting our administrative department directly ([email protected]) before initiating a bank dispute (chargeback). If the Client initiates an unjustified chargeback for a service that has been duly provided or is in progress, Innova Educational Services reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend all active services.
- Invalidate and revoke any endorsement, equivalency, or translation issued to the receiving institutions.
- Refer the outstanding balance to a collection agency, adding surcharges for legal and administrative fees and bank penalties applicable in the State of Florida.
